JOB TITLE: Recovery Navigator
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 40 hrs/week

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Women's REACH
The Women’s REACH program is designed to provide outreach, engagement, short term case management, recovery coaching, connections to community, and recovery support resources to pregnant and parenting women with substance use or co-occurring disorders AND parenting/expecting fathers, grandparents, LGBTQIA individuals, partners of WRN clients, and other immediate parenting family or natural support who have been impacted by substance use, either personally by the use of the child’s parent. With the support of a Recovery Support Specialist, these individuals will be connected to resources they need to facilitate their recovery including but not limited to MAT/MOUD and behavioral health supports, community supports, harm reduction, Family Care Plan development, reproductive health services, medical needs, basic needs, and child needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides non-clinical services to engage, educate and support people with substance use disorders for individuals who are court involved.
- Assists with identifying and accessing treatment and recovery resources in the community, including but not limited to prescribers for medications for opioid use disorder and psychiatric medications.
- Helps individuals develop and clarify personal goals and objectives around treatment and recovery from substance use disorder.
- Assists with health insurance enrollment and adjustments.
- Serves as a point of contact for care coordination and care transitions, in collaboration with the client, justice agencies, medical and behavioral health providers, and other agencies and supports as indicated.
- Provides overdose prevention education and access to naloxone distribution.
- Connects potential eligible individuals to housing and transportation resources, as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Criminal Justice
Experience: Recovery Navigator 2 years working with identified populations; self identifies as an individual with Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Court system.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A
Training: Basic computer skills required

COMPENSATION*:
$18.00/hr minimum, and up commensurate upon experience
*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based off of relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
