Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver packages along designated routes.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting recipients professionally and ensuring accurate deliveries.
- Follow prescribed routes and schedules diligently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including receipts, signatures, and route logs.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance.
Experience
- Previous delivery driver experience preferred (not required), especially with courier or commercial driving roles involving route driving.
- Paid Training if no experience
- Valid Drivers License with clean record.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical exam
- Must Pass a backround check
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.
