Showroom Sales Consultant –
Summary
Portland-based Chown Hardware, a family-owned architectural hardware company, is looking to add an experienced, full-time Sales Consultant to our team in Bellevue, WA.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, design-minded, and can enhance the Chown mission of offering the highest quality products and service in the luxury decorative plumbing and hardware industry to the Design and Construction Trade. He or she is a competitive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with vendor partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
Responsibilities
· Create and foster long-term relationships with trade clients
· Drive sales to exceed sales goals
· Engage in the local design and build community through attendance and participation at industry events
· Follow up on leads and generate new business
· Take accountability and initiative for your individual success within a team environment
· Provide superior customer service to clients
· Maintain organization, cleanliness, reliability and general aesthetics of a luxury showroom
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business development
· At least 1 - 3 years of sales experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
· Full technical knowledge of vendor product offerings for door hardware, plumbing, lighting, and surfaces.
· Excellent organizational and follow through skills
· Strong written and verbal communication
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Goal-oriented with an energetic and success-driven attitude
· Experience with doors and/or door hardware highly desired
