With multiple showroom locations, Chown Hardware provides design support and product expertise to customers across a wide range of projects.


Role Description This full-time, on-site Showroom Manager role is based in Seattle, WA. The Showroom Manager oversees daily showroom operations, ensuring an organized, welcoming environment and a high-quality experience for residential trade and retail clients. Responsibilities include guiding customers through product selections, managing displays and merchandising, coordinating appointments with trade customers, and supporting sales efforts to meet revenue and performance goals. The role also involves supervising showroom staff, monitoring inventory and orders, collaborating with other departments to ensure timely delivery and installation, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The Showroom Manager is expected to promote Chown Hardware’s brand standards, provide knowledgeable product guidance, and continuously improve showroom processes and customer experience.


Qualifications

  • Customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction, Customer Service, and Customer Experience.
  • Sales-oriented skills, including Sales and experience working in Showrooms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a retail or showroom environment, including staff leadership and daily operations oversight.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, contractors, and end customers.
  • Attention to detail in merchandising, product presentation, and documentation, with solid organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Comfort with basic business software and point-of-sale or CRM systems; experience in hardware, plumbing, lighting, or building materials is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Seattle, WA, including standing for extended periods and handling light physical tasks related to showroom maintenance.
  • Previous experience in showroom management, retail management, or a similar customer-facing leadership role is preferred.
