Job Summary
The Instructional Assistant-TK position supports the classroom teacher or other certificated staff by providing instructional assistance to individuals and small groups of transitional kindergarten students. This role includes academic support, behavior management, and promoting the social-emotional development of students under the direction of a certificated staff member.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possess a High School Diploma or it's Equivalency Must have passed the Paraprofessional Complaint Exam (formally known as the NCLB) or have acquired an AA Degree or 48 college units D.O.J Background Check T.B. Test / Assessment
