Chow Down Pet Supplies in Grand Junction is looking for the right individual to complete our amazing staff!

Candidate tasks can include, but are not limited to: cashing out customers, cleaning, stocking, merchandising, customer service, sales, unloading truck, local deliveries and petting fur babies!

Shift
Looking to fill a long-term, part-time position. We would love to find someone with flexibility to assist in coverage as needed, which could increase your weekly hours. To include the following set shifts:
Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm
Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Saturday 11:00am-7:30pm
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service with expert product knowledge
- Build sustainable relationships & trust with customers through open & interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid & complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines & policies
- Acts as a salesperson & cashier
- Assists with unloading shipments & stocking shelves (must lift up to 50 lbs consistently)
- Assists with local deliveries (must have a reliable vehicle, insurance & CO drivers license)
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Proven customer support experience
- Strong phone contact handling skills & active listening
- Ability to adapt/respond to different types of customers
- Excellent communication
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Flexible schedule
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.81 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
