Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including dementia care strategies.
- Ensure client rights are respected and upheld in all interactions.
- Assist with medication reminders and basic health management tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices and resident rights is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families.
- Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring and home care procedures.
