Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a variety of settings, including homes, clinics, and community centers
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Perform venipuncture and other basic laboratory procedures
- Assist with procedures such as spinal taps and family planning services
- Document patient information accurately and in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and treatment options
Experience:
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a registered nurse in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety practices
- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and documentation requirements
- Experience with electronic health record systems (e.g., Athenahealth)
