- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children around one year of age.
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Plan and engage children in age-appropriate learning activities.
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
- Follow daily routines including meals, diapering, naps, and classroom activities.
- Supervise children at all times and ensure their health and safety.
- Communicate professionally with parents and guardians about their child’s daily activities and development.
- Observe and document children’s developmental progress and milestones.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
- Follow all center policies, health and safety procedures, and childcare regulations.
