About Chorology: Chorology is a fast growing, early-stage cyber security startup focused on the Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and Data Discovery space. Based in San Jose, CA Chorology was founded in 2021 by a team of seasoned cyber security executives for the purpose of tackling one of the most daunting challenges facing CISO’s; automating the accurate discovery and classification process at enterprise scale for all of their confidential and compliance related data regardless of location.
The Chorology Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will own and drive the company’s end-to-end revenue strategy, ensuring strong, predictable, and scalable growth across all customer segments. This role oversees sales, channel partnerships, and customer success to build a unified, data-driven revenue engine. The CRO will define market positioning, optimize the go-to-market model, and lead the development of a repeatable sales model for enterprise, mid-market, and strategic accounts. Responsibilities include setting revenue targets, managing forecasting and pipeline health, building high-performing teams, refining pricing and packaging, and strengthening partner ecosystems. The ideal candidate has deep experience in cybersecurity markets, a strong understanding of customer pain points and competitive dynamics, and a track record of accelerating ARR growth in fast-paced startup environments. The CRO will be a “hands-on” position requiring the selected candidate to initially execute all aspects of sales development from lead generation, account qualification, proposal generation, and contract negotiation.
