What You Will Do:


As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and lifecycle of our products. You will research market needs, define product vision, manage roadmaps, and work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional solutions that drive business value and customer satisfaction. You will focus primarily on the broiler side of live production farms and related smart products and controls.


What You Will Accomplish:


  • Define and own product roadmap, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
  • Develop trusted relationships with both integrators and customers to understand market needs.
  • Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements through research, interviews, and market analysis.
  • Develop clear product specifications and user stories for engineering & design teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support to bring products to market.
  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback to iterate and improve the product.
  • Analyze competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation or improvement.
  • Partner with engineers to assist in project management and product release.
  • Lead product launches, partnering with marketing & sales to ensure successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and advocate for delivering value through product experience.


Position Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA a plus.
  • Experience: 3 years of Product Management experience within a relevant industry. Previous experience in Agriculture or Poultry industry highly preferred.
  • Functional Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills; Proven ability to manage all aspects of a product throughout its lifecycle; Technical background or strong understanding of the product’s technical aspects is preferred; Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Technology Aptitude/Skills: Ability to use Windows-based software in a networked environment; Proficient with MS Office with advanced skills in Excel and Word.
  • Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with strong presentation skills required.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Self-motivated, possessing a drive to compete and succeed; energetic, honest, ability to listen, network, and influence others; models high ethical standards.
  • Culture Match Behaviors:Collaborative, team-player with the ability to interact with other personnel and with other cultures.


Other Important Information:


Reports To: Vice President/General Manager


Core Hours: Typically, 8:00am-5:00pm, but varies based on customer/product needs


Typical Work Week: M-F with potential for some weekend hours


Direct Reports: None


Work Conditions: Primarily an office environment with visits to farms, poultry houses, and distribution centers


Travel: 25-50% overnight travel; will be heavier during initial onboarding/orientation period
