Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating flow. Duties
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a lively and professional attitude, making them feel valued and comfortable
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold a welcoming environment
- Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and accommodate seating preferences to enhance guest relations
Skills
- Previous experience as a Host or in a similar customer service role within food service or restaurant settings
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette
- Knowledge of Toast POS for managing reservations and seating assignments
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, or guest services environments is highly desirable
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for all visitors
- Familiarity with serving protocols and restaurant operations to support team collaboration
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
