What You Will Do
As a Senior Analyst, Inventory Reconciliation at Chomps, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory management processes. Leveraging your expertise in reconciliation methodologies and inventory control, you will lead efforts to optimize inventory accuracy, streamline reconciliation processes, and drive operational efficiency. Your meticulous attention to detail and analytical prowess will play a key role in identifying discrepancies, implementing corrective actions, and facilitating informed decision-making to support Chomps' growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the reconciliation efforts for Chomps' inventory-related accounts and transactions for multiple facilities and inventory types, ensuring accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
- Analyze large volumes of inventory data to identify discrepancies, variances, and trends, and develop strategies to address root causes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and supply chain, to streamline inventory reconciliation processes and improve inventory accuracy.
- Develop and maintain inventory control procedures, documentation, and reconciliation protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed.
- Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate with external partners, including vendors and logistics providers, to ensure alignment and accuracy of inventory records across the supply chain.
- Drive strategic initiatives to optimize inventory management practices, reduce inventory holding costs, and improve overall operational efficiency at Chomps.
- Travel requirement as needed, 10-20% of the time
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, supply chain management, business administration, or related field
- 3 years of experience in inventory reconciliation, inventory control, or related roles within the consumer goods industry.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and NetSuite experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex inventory data and identify trends, variances, and discrepancies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision in reconciling inventory records and financial data
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead reconciliation projects and drive process improvements
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs
- Knowledge of inventory management principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in the consumer goods sector

Salary Range Opportunity:
- The salary range for this role is $68,000 - $72,000 10% annual bonus
