Position Summary
We’re seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team and provide hands-on support for dentistry procedures. You’ll work directly with veterinarians, other technicians, and patients, focusing on anesthesia monitoring, dental radiography, cleanings, and client communication.
This is an excellent opportunity for technicians who love their time in the dental suite, and want to work in a focused, day-practice environment without emergencies or general wellness visits. No weekends!
Key Responsibilities
- Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
- Assist veterinarians during dental procedures.
- Perform dental radiographs, scaling/cleanings, and charting.
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery.
- Prepare and maintain surgical and dental equipment.
- Provide compassionate communication with pet owners.
- Support smooth daily workflow alongside the technician team.
Qualifications
- Confidence and experience as a veterinary technician (dentistry experience preferred).
- Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and dental radiographs strongly preferred.
- Credentialed technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) a plus but not required. Additional pay potential.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
