Job Summary

Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using schematics, electrical testing, and computerized systems to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on transmissions, brakes, suspensions, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components to restore optimal functionality.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair vehicles and replace required parts.
- Maintain and service power-train components.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks such as tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, fluid changes, and general vehicle upkeep to ensure safety and reliability.
- Follow detailed schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and providing professional advice on vehicle maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic with formal tech school or dealership training preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair disciplines including diesel engine repair, transmissions, suspension systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical diagnostics.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, specialized equipment, and scan tools.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
