Now Hiring: Occupational Therapist Supervisor- Supervising Certified Occupational Therapist AssistantPart-time (approximately 4 hours a week)Position OverviewAs our Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct and consultative services that empower students to engage more fully in school activities and achieve their academic goals. You will assess, plan, and deliver interventions tailored to each student's functional, developmental, and sensory needs.Key Responsibilities:Instruction, Assessment & SupportEvaluate student motor, sensory, and adaptive needs through assessments and screeningsDevelop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEPs and student goalsProvide direct therapy sessions and consult with educators and staffSupport skill development in fine motor coordination, self-regulation, daily living tasks, and classroom participationIEP Development & ComplianceParticipate in special education team meetings and develop appropriate IEP goalsEnsure accurate documentation of services, progress, and Medicaid-compliant billingUse designated special education management systems to track and report servicesCollaboration & CommunicationFoster strong partnerships with teachers, support staff, administrators, and familiesProvide training and strategies to classroom teams to promote student independenceTravel between school sites as scheduled to provide consistent support at each locationWhat You BringMinimum Requirements:Master's degree in Occupational TherapyValid Michigan licensure (OTR/L)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage a flexible, dual-building caseloadPreferred Qualifications:Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapyFamiliarity with IEP processes, sensory integration, and assistive technologyStrong documentation and organizational skillsA passion for supporting diverse learners in inclusive environmentsCompensation & BenefitsCompensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
