Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Help patients make progress where it matters most: in their everyday lives. Choice Health at Home is looking for a compassionate, motivated COTA who enjoys building relationships and helping people regain the skills they need for greater independence.
Working with an Occupational Therapist, you’ll provide hands-on treatment that helps patients improve strength, mobility, and their ability to perform daily activities.
What you’ll do
Carry out treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
Help patients build functional skills and work toward their therapy goals.
Document care accurately and communicate progress to the Occupational Therapist and care team.
Educate and encourage patients and families throughout treatment.
Follow infection control practices and agency policies to support safe, consistent care.
What you’ll bring
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
CPR certification
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Home health or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred
Physical requirements: Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, crawl, squat, or kneel for extended periods and to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds.
