Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable handyman to join our maintenance team. This full-time position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends. Whether you’re looking for a second job or some extra income with flexibility around your primary job, our dynamic scheduling can accommodate. While work is generally planned, the nature of property management sometimes requires responding to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of handyman services including, but not limited to, basic HVAC maintenance, lawn care, basic plumbing, and electrical repairs, snow removal, etc.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing minor damages, and ensuring that common areas are clean and operational.
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests promptly.
- Evaluate the need for professional contractors and coordinate with management as needed.
- Keep a detailed record of all maintenance activities and expenses.
- Occasionally respond to emergency maintenance requests.
Preferred Experience:
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role. Experience in HVAC, lawn care and maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical repairs is highly preferred.
- Ability to handle various tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
