We are seeking a highly interactive, support-focused Prior Authorization Representative to join our client's team in Franklin, TN. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site work 3 days a week. This position plays a key role in assisting agents and customers by processing prior authorizations, explaining benefit structures, and providing clear guidance on prescription drug and Medicare-related coverage. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivers exceptional phone-based customer service, and can confidently manage multiple cases and systems simultaneously. Must have previous prior authorization and call center experience.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM, CT
Pay: $16.41/hr.
Location: Franklin, TN - Required to work 3 days on-site.
Responsibilities for the Prior Authorization Representative:
- Processing Prior Authorizations.
- Will explain benefit structures to agents or customers.
- Handle inbound/outbound calls professionally.
- Document clearly, accurately, and consistently.
- Deliver guidance, education, and problem-solving.
- Handle multiple cases and systems at once.
- Manage multiple software tools.
Requirements:
- Prescription Drug Reimbursement & Insurance Knowledge.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have previous call center customer service experience.
- Must have previous prior authorization experience.
- Knowledge of Medicare benefits, enrollments and LIS assistance.
- Visual acuity to see and read fine prints and colors.
- Verifiable HS Diploma or GED - Associates degree preferred.
