This team is responsible for accurately tracking what's owed to suppliers and ensuring associate expenses as well as supplier invoices are properly approved and processed for payment. Your Responsibilities
- This role is the primary point of contact for managing all internal/external customer inquiries through phone calls, emails, ChoiceNow etc.
- Responsible for auditing, reconciling and approving expense reports in compliance with company policy
- Completes timely and accurate new vendor profile setups and maintenance of existing vendor master records in Peoplesoft
- Emails past-due notices to and expense report submission reminders
- Assists with weekly pay cycles, and month-end processing
- Enters & codes monthly/quarterly invoices from Travel Inc, Concur, Basware or other department vendors as needed.
- Performs other duties as required to support disbursement operations
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Minimum of 3-5 years of customer service experience
- Automated workflow system experience preferred (Concur and Basware)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ensures companywide compliance to company policies and guidelines
- High degree of initiative, personal responsibility and integrity
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across the organization
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment

Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Supervisor of Disbursements. You will work closely with other members of the Disbursements Department and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Accounts Payable Specialist 2, your role will be remote. Periodically, you may be a requested to travel into our corporate office for in-person trainings, meetings, or social outings but these activities are not required.
Our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters is located in Rockville, Maryland. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located directly across from the Rockville Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.
