The Loyalty team is laser-focused on driving guest engagement through Choice’s award-winning loyalty program, Choice Privileges. As a key member of this team, you will be at the forefront of building the loyalty partnerships function at Choice, and defining how Choice grows through partnerships.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships:
  • Identify, build, and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing partners.
  • Assist with business development to identify and pitch new potential Loyalty Growth partnership offerings
  • Support negotiation of agreements:
  • Support negotiation of partnership agreements that align with Choice’s strategic goals and provide mutual value for both Choice & its partners. Execute contractual requirements and work with legal if / when issues arise. Develop business cases that help support contractual terms & negotiating positions.
  • Implement and manage partnerships:
  • Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of partnership programs:
  • Work with internal teams including Choice Privileges strategy, Choice Privileges Operations, Marketing and Finance to develop a marketing and growth plan to increase revenue for Choice Hotels, Choice Privileges share of wallet and strengthen partner relationships.
  • Collaborate with Choice Privileges Operations team to track progress of development for any partner enhancements that require IT development.
  • Analyze and optimize performance
  • Track and analyze partnership performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Responsible for monthly tracking against plan, identifying trends, analyzing program effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvements and implementing these to drive incremental value.
  • Market research and analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential partners and understand industry trends
  • Collaborate with Director of Loyalty Partnerships to ensure integration of partnerships into larger Choice partnerships strategy

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • 7 years of professional experience in a commercially focused, analytical role (Business Management/Analysis, Consulting, etc.). Experience in partnerships preferred but not required.
  • Experience with financial forecasting and reporting. Passion for data-driven marketing and business intelligence across channels. Proven success in utilizing analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive results.
  • Experience with project management – ability to organize cross-functional teams to rally behind work, ensure work product is aligned to strategic goals, and achieve timelines.
  • Persuasive, confident networker with a track record of success in building and growing professional relationships
  • Self-motivated team player with a proven ability to work with individual and team goals.
  • Superior knowledge regarding the practices and principles related to the sale and implementation of corporate partnership.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with corporate clients and co-workers.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Solutions oriented, problem solving mentality a must.
  • Must be creative, detail oriented, possess a strong work ethic, be willing to learn.
  • Comfortable with Ambiguity; proven ability to work across teams and organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Travel may be required (10%)

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director of Loyalty Partnerships. You will have 1 peer teammate and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Manager of Loyalty Partnerships, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in Rockville, Maryland. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located across from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.

This is an in-office role, with associates expected to work 4 days per week from our office.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP).

The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
