We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during the breakfast hours. You will ensure that the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and inviting, while also preparing and serving food items. Your attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area before service begins, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Prepare a variety of food items, including hot and cold dishes, in accordance with food safety standards.
- Serve breakfast items to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed throughout service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Skills
- Previous kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Experience as a host/host or delivery driver can be beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Excellent communication skills for effective guest interactions and teamwork.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
- Culinary skills including cooking, meal preparation, knife skills, and meat cutting are desirable.
