Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems and equipment to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facilities maintenance will help uphold the highest standards of property condition and operational efficiency. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals; utilize hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Conduct carpentry, painting, and other hands-on repairs to maintain the aesthetic appeal and structural integrity of the property.
• Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and other essential building systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff; prioritize tasks effectively to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety protocols during all repair activities; document work performed accurately in maintenance logs.
• Assist with building interior maintenance projects such as painting, drywall repairs, or flooring as needed to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building repair roles within hospitality or residential environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and electrical equipment repair techniques.
• Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and electrical work.
• Ability to perform carpentry (including residential painting), plumbing system maintenance & repair, and general building interior upkeep.
• Knowledge of maintenance painting techniques and experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) procedures.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals; ability to use testing devices such as ohmmeters effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude when interacting with guests or team members.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a plus.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
