General Anaesthesia Coordinator
Summary: The General Anaesthesia Coordinator provides support and aid to the General Anesthesia Supervisor, with focus on obtaining documentation and scheduling patients.
5 day a week in our Mission Children's Choice Dental Care office.
Pay Range: $18.54-$24.47/hour (Based on experience)

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Organize and sort new patients on General Anesthesia Smartsheet
- Open each attachment, review, edit and rename
- Submit updated attachments to appropriate Doctors
- Obtain documentation for prior authorization
- Call to schedule patients’ treatment
- Receive and go through General Anesthesia report from IV Sedation Manager
- Update General Anesthesia Smartsheet
- Update patient’s Open Dental
- Update patient on status of case
- Work on prior authorizations and follow up on Notice of Authorization
- Aid IV Sedation Manager in responding to inquiries from patients regarding status of General Anesthesia case.
- Transfer Open Dental charts to and from the office.
Update Smartsheet after each General Anesthesia Day:
- Upload General Anesthesia paperwork, set to complete IV sedation paperwork to Office and patient’s home office
- Work General Anesthesia days (as needed)
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of healthcare customer service experience
- 1 years of healthcare insurance verification/eligibility experience
- 1 years of prior authorizations experience, preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Demonstrate excellent organization skills and ability to meet deadlines
Salary : $19 - $24
