What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at CHOICE Healthcare Services?
Summary The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. This is a part time position to work Fridays and Saturdays.
Pay Range $16.90-$20.43/hr (Based on experience)

- Takes x-rays

- Assist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teeth
- Instructs patients on oral hygiene
- Charts cavities and teeth with doctor
- Sterilizes instruments
- Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene
- Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor
- Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish, required
- X-Ray certification
- BLS certification
- 8-hour Infection Control certification
- 2-hour Dental Practice Act certification
Salary : $17 - $20
