Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our dentist and other team members to ensure high-quality patient care and a positive experience. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoy helping people, we would love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and provide patient care during treatment.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
- Sterilize, maintain, and prepare dental instruments and equipment.
- Take digital X-rays as required.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Dental assistant certification, coronal polishing, x-ray certification preferred.
- Experience as a dental assistant or in a similar role is a plus.
- Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and radiography.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, friendly, and patient-focused attitude.
