Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join our team in the automotive equipment installation industry. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of automotive equipment and accessories. Duties
- Assist with the installation and removal of automotive equipment, including tires, wheels, and accessories using hand tools and power tools
- Support automotive tire changes, wheel alignments, and basic vehicle maintenance tasks, 2 & 4 post lifts, air compressors and oil delivery systems
- Use mechanical knowledge to help repair or install automotive service equipment
- Handle heavy lifting safely to move parts or equipment during installation or repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about work performed and any additional needs
Experience
- Prior experience working with construction sites in busy environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment assembly is desireable
- Hands-on experience with auto repair, tire changes, or vehicle maintenance is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive electrical systems enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Previous mechanic experience or auto background is beneficial but not required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation or repair tasks
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members
