Job Summary
A gentleman in La Plata, Maryland is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and person-centered Personal Support Professional to provide support with daily living activities, companionship, and daily routines. As a Personal Support Professional, you will play an important role in supporting the participant's daily needs while helping him maintain his well-being and quality of life in his home environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide respectful assistance with activities of daily living
- Support with daily routines and personal needs
- Assist with accessing meals, snacks, and beverages throughout the day
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable living environment
- Offer companionship, conversation, and encouragement
- Monitor and report any concerns related to skin integrity and overall well-being
- Promote safety, dignity, privacy, and independence at all times
- Communicate professionally with family members and the support team as needed

Requirements

- Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule

- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Ability to commute to La Plata, MD
- Reliable transportation preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Experience supporting individuals with activities of daily living preferred
- Experience with personal care, caregiving, or direct support services preferred
