The Role
As a Cake Decorator Assistant, you will play a key role in helping us bring our mission to life by supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the Cake Decorator in our busiest season.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support for Cake Decorator by way of various prep tasks including but not limited to:
- Scoop Ice Cream cakes for the week according to stock levels for each flavor and size
- Stack cake and ice cream to form cakes that are ready to be decorated
- Keep adequate amount of boxes folded, labeled, and ready for use
- Hand write flavor display labels for cake boxes
- Print ingredient labels as needed to maintain stock levels
- Has experience with or willing to learn other various tasks, such as:
- Prepping/cutting pre-baked cakes
- Minor decorating of stock cakes
About You
We’re looking for individuals who:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have punctual, predictable, reliable attendance
- Are cooperative and able to take direction
- Have excellent verbal communication skills
- Are customer service driven
- Are able to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
Previous experience in retail and/or cake decorating is a plus, but your attitude and alignment with our values matter most.

Schedule:
- 15-20 hours per week, with a minimum of 3 separate days. Ice cream takes time to freeze, multiple shorter days insures plenty of time for this to happen while allowing time for other tasks to be completed
- Flexibility within shifts, length of shift could be determined by an increase or decrease in business
- Shift will occur simultaneously with the Cake Decorator, between 8am and 4pm Mon-Fri
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
