What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fudge and Candy Making position at Chocolate Outlaw, LLC?
We are seeking Confectionary Cooks, Cook Assistants and Packagers to join our dedicated kitchen staff! We are looking for energetic and reliable workers to assist in wholesale confectionary production runs in an expanding small business. You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and/or presentation of confections in our professional kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all ingredients as needed
- Plan production runs
- Follow house recipes exactly
- Operate kitchen and specialty equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Clean and maintain kitchen areas including, floors equipment, utensils, and appliances
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in teams and with others
- Ability to work alone at times.
- Stand or sit for long periods of time depending on the job
- Cooking positions require NO physical limitations and you must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs
