The Chocolate Nugget Candy Factory in Washoe Valley is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Store Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, including managing staff, ensuring production quality, and maintaining inventory levels. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the manager actively participating in floor operations alongside employees.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that all aspects meet company standards and policies.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.
- Manage inventory levels, monitor sales performance, and optimize store layouts to maximize sales and profitability.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Promote products, offer personalized recommendations, and create a welcoming store environment.
- Stay up-to-date on sales trends, consumer behavior, and industry developments to ensure that the store remains competitive and relevant.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to improve sales performance.
- Complete weekly staff work schedules.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a store management or assistant manager role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive shopping experience.
- Ability to negotiate and sell effectively.
- Experience with POS systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for retail and a desire to continuously improve sales performance and customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on meeting sales targets and delivering high-quality customer service.
Compensation: $20-$22 DOE
