Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha or Micros, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails and spirits, while maintaining proper beverage presentation standards.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately, handling cash handling and cashiering duties with integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling and beverage service protocols.
- Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations effectively.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through good time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Prior experience with OpenTable reservations or similar booking platforms is advantageous.
