Job Summary
The X-Ray Technician is an experienced healthcare professional who performs routine technical x-ray services within the medical practice settings under the supervision of the department’s leadership staff.
Pay Range
Minimum $23.08 Midpoint $30.59 Maximum $38.09
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
Light - Moderate energy level Lift and carry 25-35 lbs. Push/pull 50-100 lbs. (ie. empty bed, stretcher).

Experience
- Required: Minimum two (2) years of experience.
- Preferred:
- Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited vocational school having successfully completed requirements for X-Ray Technician.
- Preferred: Associates Degree.
- Required:
- Required: Knowledge and ability to provide appropriate patient care depending on age, cultural, and spiritual needs. Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards. Advance care through development of new ideas and technology. Promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission, understanding, and exceeding patient and family expectations. Effectively solve patient care and operational problems. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for the safe and effective performance of the job. Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area. Proficient in medical terminology.
- Preferred: Bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Required: X-Ray Technician - CA - Department of Public Health, Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association.
