What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Environmental Sustainability Manager - PMO position at Chobani?
This position will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Environmental Sustainability in implementing and advancing our sustainability initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of sustainability principles, excellent project management and data analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve environmental sustainability goals.
* KPI Tracking and Progress Reporting: Oversee process to collect and report out data related to key sustainability initiatives and identified KPIs. Work cross-functionally with environmental pillar leads to deliver regular progress reports for management.
* Project Management: Lead and coordinate sustainability projects and initiatives across various departments. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with sustainability objectives and drive implementation of sustainable practices.
* Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with external partners, suppliers, NGOs, and industry stakeholders to foster collaborations and identify opportunities for sustainable practices and innovation.
* External Requests Handling: Establish and lead a process for responding to external inquiries and requests related to sustainability data, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely responses to stakeholders, customers, investors, and regulatory bodies.
* Compliance and Reporting: Stay informed about relevant sustainability regulations, ESG frameworks, certifications, and best practices. Support in the preparation and submission of sustainability reports as required by regulatory bodies and industry standards.
* Team Support: Provide guidance and support to internal teams, fostering a culture of sustainability throughout the organization.
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field. Masters preferred.
* 5 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or related field, with a proven track record of driving sustainability programs in a corporate setting
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, SASB)
* Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations, certifications (e.g., ISO 14001), and sustainability trends
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
* Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
* Ability to travel to our Twin Falls, ID and New Berlin, NY plant sites up to 30%

Compensation Range:$118,400.00-$177,600.00, plus bonus.
