Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Client Relations: Pursue new opportunities, maintain and grow relationships, and represent Choate at networking events and industry organizations.
- Project Oversight: Manage multiple projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality standards. Mentor and lead Project Managers, Superintendents, and support staff.
- Contracts & Risk Management: Review and approve contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders; proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
- Preconstruction & Planning: Collaborate on bid strategies, schedules, design-assist opportunities, and BIM/virtual tool usage.
- Construction & Team Leadership: Establish project objectives, monitor progress, implement corrective actions, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
- Financial Oversight: Approve budgets, cost reports, pay applications, and change orders; monitor project profitability and equipment utilization.
- 5–10 years as a Senior Project Manager; 25 years in construction.
- Proven ability to lead multiple project teams to successful outcomes.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction or related field.
- Preferred: LEED AP certification.
