Duties
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly and positive attitude, making them feel comfortable and appreciated
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and taking reservations when needed
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest flow and timely seating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including menus and waiting lists
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Experience
- Prior host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest engagement
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, or guest services roles is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Previous serving or food service experience is beneficial but not required
