Procurement Director

​POSITION SUMMARY

This position will lead our Procurement Department at NBA China and work with cross functional departments to ensure we obtain goods and services at the highest quality and value. The procurement leader will be responsible for the overall process, the total savings and the quality of the services from the suppliers.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• To understand and further improve the procurement process and policies at NBA China. Be responsible for all procurement activities and bidding process for $50-75M expenses locally with significant year over year growth.
• To work closely with the cross functional business department to drive Procurement savings and improve quality through competitive bidding and identifying quality suppliers
• Evaluate and manage the performance of the suppliers
• Leadership in ensuring compliance to all policy and procedures in the Procurement area
• Close communication with the US team and other regional offices to share best practices and to implement global policies
• Work closely with AP and FP&A team to automate and simplify but ensure strong controls exist for the Procure to Pay Process Cycle.
• Direct Report to Head of Finance of NBA China, Manages a team of 1-2 people

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Project management and negotiation skills
• Be familiar with SAP/corcentric system is a plus
• Quick learning skills, Team player
• Detailed Oriented

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• 10 years in Multinational with previous experience in procurement and finance.
• Experience in content production, marketing, events execution and gaming is a plus.
• Bachelor degree or higher
