Assembly Material Handler

Duties and responsibilities

We are seeking a Material Handler to join our Assembly team.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas.
• Verify the accuracy of quantity and part numbers to labels. 
• Ensure proper placement of inventory once removed from the production line.
• Lift boxes by hand off presses to be moved to skids.  
• Ensure the flow of boxes in and out of and throughout the production area and shipping lanes.  
• Lift boxes by hand off presses to be moved to skids.  
• Ensure a smooth and efficient flow of boxes within injection molding.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without accommodation and be able to stand/walk 10 hours a day 
• Ability to operate a pallet jack.
• Fork truck certification is preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules and shifts.
• Effective team player with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Understanding of assembly processes.
• Ability to make guided decisions based on the data available.
