Overview
We are seeking dependable and hardworking men and women who are willing to learn and grow as they gain experience in the landscaping field. Entry level positions will begin as a crewman, with the possibility of moving up to a foreman or supervisor and eventually even maybe a manager or designer with a consistent work ethic, willingness to learn, cohesive team ideals, and positive attitude. The right candidate will have a passion for working outdoors, working with others, respectful/ professional communication skills, and a willingness to learn new in landscape maintenance, hardscaping, and groundskeeping. One of the best feelings at this job is the sense of accomplishment when a job is well done!
Duties
- Operate power tools and hand tools for various landscaping projects, including pruning, trimming, and edging.
- Learn to operate equipment for moving and loading materials like soil, mulch, boulders, plants and other landscape materials.
- Assist in hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
- Build and maintain landscape features, including flower beds, shrubs, and trees.
- Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, and fertilizing.
- Provide tree care services including pruning and removal as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in landscaping is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Willingness to learn new techniques related to landscape maintenance and installation.
- Ability to communicate with team members/managers on a daily basis.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.
