Bring automated machinery to life. At Chism Automation, you’ll design the controls and program the robots, PLCs, and HMIs that make automated equipment work. Your work will help regional manufacturers put robotic systems and assembly line automation into action.
We build high-quality robotic systems, automated machinery, and assembly line automation. As we expand to meet the needs of long-term customers, we’re looking for an Automation Controls Engineer who enjoys solving technical problems and wants to keep developing their skills.

What you will do
· Design control systems for automated machinery and robot cells.
· Program robots, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).
· Solve controls and programming challenges to help equipment operate as intended.
· Communicate clearly with coworkers and customers about technical needs and solutions.
What you will bring
· A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with coworkers and customers.
· A desire to continuously learn and develop your technical skills.
· A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a practical approach to problem solving.
Compensation and benefits
· Competitive salary plus straight-time pay.
· $7,500 relocation package.
