We are seeking a skilled and proactive Building Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation, safety, and appearance of our facility. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across our day program facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and a commitment to excellent customer service. This part-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly impact the functionality and safety of our building.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes while performing all duties.
- Maintain a priority list of maintenance and repair request.
- Respond on an on-call basis for assessment of building/property-related emergencies.
- Oversee major repairs from contracted vendors.
- Establish maintenance schedules for painting, carpet cleaning, flor maintenance and furnishings.
- maintain tools and power equipment such as fork lift, pallet jacks', lawn mowers and other related items.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid Drivers Licenses
- Ability to pass background study
Pay: $ $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
