Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks.
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, storage spaces, and dining areas when necessary.
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing food items and ensuring timely setup and breakdown.
- Buss tables during service hours by clearing dishes, resetting tables promptly, and assisting with guest needs.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen workflow during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic kitchen operations.
