Overview
The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and growing Chirp’s largest retail relationships. This role works directly with the Tier 1 National Sales Manager to ensure best-in-class execution across key accounts, driving sales performance, strengthening partnerships, and identifying opportunities for expansion.
This individual will serve as a primary day-to-day contact for major retail partners—ensuring alignment across merchandising, inventory, promotions, and overall account strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Execution
- Support and help manage Chirp’s largest retail accounts in partnership with the Tier 1 National Sales Manager
- Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day communication with retail partners
- Ensure strong execution across:
- Product assortment
- Merchandising and placement
- Promotions and campaigns
- Inventory and replenishment
Sales Performance & Growth
- Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to drive incremental sales
- Support planning and execution of promotional calendars
- Partner with internal teams to ensure successful product launches and expansions within accounts
- Help develop and execute strategies to grow share within key retailers
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Sales leadership
- Operations and supply chain
- Marketing and brand teams
- Ensure alignment between retail needs and internal execution
- Help troubleshoot and resolve any account-related issues quickly
Data & Insights
- Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and account trends
- Provide regular updates and insights to the Tier 1 National Sales Manager
- Use data to inform recommendations and improve account performance
Retail Relationship Development
- Build strong, professional relationships with key retail partners
- Maintain a high level of responsiveness and reliability
- Represent Chirp as a trusted, proactive partner

Profile
- 3–7 years in sales, account management, or retail partnerships
- Experience working with major retail accounts (big box, specialty, or eCommerce)
- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
