Chiropractic Assistant / Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and healing-centered clinic environment. This position supports daily front-desk operations, patient flow, scheduling, insurance coordination, and administrative tasks while providing exceptional customer service to chiropractic and massage therapy patients.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Patient Experience

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Check patients in and out efficiently
  • Answer phones, respond to texts/emails, and manage patient inquiries
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule chiropractic and massage appointments
  • Maintain a calm, compassionate, and professional demeanor at all times

Administrative Duties

  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay fees
  • Process payments (cash, credit/debit, HSA/FSA)
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR system
  • Scan, upload, and organize patient documents
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

Insurance & Billing Support (if applicable)

  • Verify insurance benefits
  • Explain coverage, co-pays, and treatment plans to patients
  • Assist with basic billing, authorizations, and claims support
  • Communicate with insurance companies when needed

Clinic Operations

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and office area
  • Coordinate patient flow between chiropractic and massage services
  • Assist the doctor and massage therapists with non-clinical support tasks
  • Monitor office supplies and assist with ordering
  • Support marketing efforts (appointment reminders, reviews, referrals)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Prior experience in a chiropractic, medical, or wellness office (preferred)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills/Bilingual (preferred)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills; EHR experience a plus
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
