Job Summary
We are a well-established Chiropractic Center in Glendora, CA dedicated to providing patients with comprehensive, high-quality care. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge, excellent treatment skills, and a patient-centered approach. This role involves conducting thorough evaluations, performing acupuncture treatments, integrating adjunct therapies, and contributing to overall patient wellness in a professional and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform acupuncture treatments using appropriate TCM and integrative medicine principles.
- Conduct patient evaluations, including health history, tongue/pulse diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Provide adjunct therapies such as cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, and electro-acupuncture (as trained).
- Support chiropractic care plans to improve patient outcomes, reduce pain, and support rehabilitation.
- Educate patients on self-care, lifestyle recommendations, stretching, and post-treatment guidance.
- Maintain proper hygienic standards, safety protocols, and professional draping at all times.
- Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms and equipment between each session.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date treatment notes and progress records.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients.
- Work collaboratively with chiropractors, massage therapists, and support staff to ensure the highest quality of care.
Requirements
- Current California Acupuncture License (L.Ac.) in good standing.
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited acupuncture/TCM program.
- Professional liability insurance (preferred but not required to start).
- Valid CPR Certification and BLS Certification required for emergency preparedness
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and TCM diagnostic principles.
- Excellent communication, patient interaction, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional, positive, and compassionate demeanor.
- Prior experience in a chiropractic, medical, or wellness office preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative healthcare environment.
