Position Overview:
The Patient Coordinator will play a crucial role in our office by fulfilling a variety of responsibilities, including receptionist duties, therapy assistance, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be an organized, friendly, and proactive individual who is comfortable working in a dynamic and patient-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Receptionist Duties: (This will be only when covering vacations)
Greet patients warmly and manage check-ins and check-outs.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Therapy Assistant Duties:
Assist chiropractors with patient therapies and treatment plans as directed.
Put patients on therapies and take them off therapies as directed.
Provide support and education to patients regarding their therapy routines.
Administrative Assistant Duties:
Perform general office administrative tasks including data entry, scanning papers, and managing office supplies, checking emails.
Handle sending billing to our billing team.
Check voicemail and handle patient questions.
Send Patient records when requested
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a healthcare or chiropractic office is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office, electronic health records systems).
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant certifications or education is a plus.
