What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-Home Respite position at Chippy's Childcare?
In the Appleton community, a mom is seeking to find a professional care provider for her 9-year-old daughter. The child does have special needs, along with medium-higher support needs.
The child caregiver in this position would be taking this kind and caring girl to fun activities in the community.
Location:
- Appleton, Wi
Available Shift:
- between 20-40 hours a week
- Very Flexible schedule
Pay:
- $17.97/Hour
Tasks:
- Talk with parents about what the plan would be for the day
- Providing 1:1 supervision
- Provide Transportation to and from outings
- Offer emotional support when needed
- Activities in the community
- Engaging in de-escalation tactics as needed
Family Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s Licenses and reliable vehicle.
- Able to pass a Wisconsin background check
- Experience working with adults or children with complex needs ( Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, ODD, Etc. )
- Proven dependability
- Committed to providing care for children and adults with special needs.
- Someone who can understand de-escalation
Pay: From $17.97 per hour
