Job Summary
The Employment Services Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of person-centered employment services including exploration, job development, job coaching, and ongoing employment supports. The ES Manager supports the provision of quality and outcome-oriented services through direct coordination, supervision, and collaboration with employment services staff. The ES Manager works closely with both the program coordinator and the Day Services Manager to ensure individuals with identified employment goals are receiving full access to opportunities related to exploration, discovery, and skill development.
Essential Functions
Employment Services Leadership
1. Provide leadership and direction for Employment Services
2. Ensure Employment Specialists are implementing person- centered support that promotes independence, skill development, and meaningful employment outcomes.
3. Ensure employment services are delivered consistently and are aligned with person centered goal
4. Ensure quality and services, participant satisfaction and engagement
5. Lead the vision and development of Employment Services and report program status to leadership.
Employer & Community Partnerships
1. Build and maintain strong working relationships with employers and community partners
2. Address employer concerns promptly and ensure worksite expectations are upheld
3. Promote positive representation of CEI in all community and employment settings
4. Work collaboratively with day services- employment services can complement and support day support services
5. Work in conjunction with Day Services Manager or community engagement person to compliment and expand overall connections and partnerships
Staff Supervision & Performance
1. Supervise, train and support Employment Specialists. (ES) ensuring they rovie quality care and support
2. Set expectations and complete ES performance evaluations
3. Coach and manage ES team performance
4. Manage ES staff payroll
5. Onboard/orient all new staff on employment services and expectations
6. Lead capability and conduct processes fairly when required.
7. Coordinate and lead weekly team meetings
8. Support consistent supervision and transportation safety expectations when applicable
9. Provide minimum of monthly training related to employment for all ESs
Service Delivery & Quality Oversight
1. Ensure services are implemented according to individual goals and person-centered planning
2. Ensure employment services are delivered consistently and match the approved service approach (job coaching, skill-building, employer expectations)
3. Ensure staff maintain professional conduct at worksites and in the community
Documentation & Compliance
1. Own the vision and development of employment services
2. Maintain constructive relationships with community and teams
3. Ensure timely and accurate ES case notes, goal tracking, and documentation needed for compliance and billing..
4. Set employment service staffing schedules
5. Set employment service transportation schedules
6. ..Ensure staff follow policies and procedures related to confidentiality, rights, and service standards.
Health, Safety & Risk Management
1. Ensure safe service delivery and enforce required safety procedures
2. Respond to incidents and safety concerns as needed and ensure follow-up actions occur
Budgeting & Control
1. Maintain budgets for employment programs and purchase supplies as needed.
2. Provide administrative support including program reporting and service planning oversight.
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
