Job Summary and Qualifications
The Physical Therapy Technician PRN will assist with patient care as planned and directed by the appropriate therapist
- You will clean and prepare equipment and treatment areas as assigned.
- Perform tasks to assure safe functioning within the department.
- Assist with departmental maintenance of all equipment.
- Perform clerical duties as assigned.
- Transport patients to and from therapy areas.
- Maintain supply inventory including monitoring for expired supplies and ordering needed supplies and putting supplies away
- You will communicate and work effectively with staff, patients and families/ significant others.
What qualifications you will need:
- BLS certification
- Previous rehabilitation services experience preferred but not required.
- High school education or equivalent, or working towards diploma.
- Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy student preferred
