Job Summary and Qualifications
Positionsummary:
Coordinates Emergency Medical Service(EMS)related activities and duties, which are the responsibility of Chippenham. Primary responsibility for development and maintenance of hospital relationships with EMS providers. Serves as an advocate of the hospital with local, regional, and state EMS agencies. Ensures collaboration across all care settings within the facility as it relates to EMS by participating in performance improvement, quality review, marketing, daily operational support, and educational outreach. Helps drive service line growth.

Position responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and coordinate continuing educational opportunities for the EMS community
Provideongoingfeedback to EMS partners
Assistwith marketing and public relations
Assistwith outreach for ED initiates such as stroke, STEMI, trauma. & sepsis
Chart audits
Collects Chest Pain Center data related to EMS
Responsible for EMS Audit and Review meetings at Chippenham
Maintains hospital renewal of Supervising Hospital Certification
Maintains EMS lounge
Communications EMS metrics to Capital Division
Assistswith disaster preparedness
Coordinates EMSclinical rotations
Organizes EMS week activities
Other duties as assigned
Attend Code of Conduct training course annually
Demonstrate an understanding of and adherence to HCA’s Code of Conduct
What qualifications you will need:
- High School Graduate / GED
- Emergency Medical Technician Basic, or Paramedic, or (EMT-State) Emergency Medical Technician, or (NRP) Nationally Registered Paramedic, or PCT experience
- Minimum 1 year experience preferred
